About Us
Skating is full of drama, let’s add some fun!
Motown Ice Theatre strives for excellence in performance ice theatre, and is building a network of teams with USFS skating members of all ages and levels.
Our goal is for each skater to feel they are a part of something bigger, a team that works together to create positive, memorable art while building skating skills and lasting relationships.
We practice at the John Lindell Ice Arena in Royal Oak, Michigan and offer skating opportunities from Snowplow Sam through Senior levels skaters, including Adults!

“Theatre On Ice (TOI) is a form of competitive figure skating that combines the grace of figure skating with the excitement of theatre and dance. Known as “Ballet on Ice” in Europe, TOI teams consist of eight to 30 skaters on the ice telling a story together. TOI brings skaters together and increases club skaters, giving athletes the chance to be a part of a team, travel locally and internationally and make new friends”
